àMaurice has enjoyed the distinction of being named a Top 100 Winery by Wine & Spirits Magazine on four occasions. The tasting process, which includes a full panel of wine professionals and a blind tasting of a winery’s entire portfolio, determines wines that stand out in their growing region and deserve international recognition as a Top 100 Winery. These accolades, and the rigorous methodology behind them, bring us an immense amount of pride as a multi-generational Washington winery.

Wow, this wine will be amazing in 20 years! It has been open for over four days and I finally think it was ready to tell me who she is! In the nose you get blackberry almost currant. At first the tannins are quite quiet, but with air a very long and quite full complex tannin structure emerges. Upon smelling again, it reminds me of a truly classic Washington Cabernet Sauvignon and happiness.
Dark ruby red. The nose arrives with currants, minerality and then is followed closely by notes of the forest floor. The flavors are dense and packed but need quite a bit of air to reveal themselves. Blackberries, Christmas spice, and cherry flood the palate and float to the finish. The tannins are concentrated in the middle, then smooth and long on the finish. This wine will evolve and last for many years to come. – winemaker Anna Schafer Cohen notes
