The exquisite wine at àMaurice starts with respecting the land — healthy vines mean healthy wines.  àMaurice is committed to sustainable viticulture in the pursuit to produce the highest quality grapes, and to craft superior red and white wines. Our mission is simple — just the best.

Our 13-acre vineyard is located upland from Mill Creek, just east of Walla Walla on the south-facing slope. At 1,400 feet of elevation, this location is ideal for grapes due to long, warm summers and cool nights, an average rainfall of 20 inches per year, and fantastic cold air drainage.

We are dedicated to raising quality fruit through environmentally sound farming practices. Maintaining the soil and plant organisms provides nutrients necessary to grow healthy vines and grapes.

More than 15,000 vines were planted in May 2006. Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Viognier, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot Varietals are now six feet tall!

We are charter members of Vinea — an alliance of Walla Walla wineries and vineyards that adhere to the strict guidelines of sustainable viticulture. Please visit our website for more information on sustainable viticulture.
