88% Syrah from Lewis, Boushey and àMaurice Estate Vineyards; 12% Grenache from Minick Vineyard. Deep rich violet color with pink rim. Minerality frames the smoke infused fleshy nose. The sophisticated tannins are grounded earthy yet smooth. Medium plus acidity elevate the black fruit flavors and ripe tannins. The wine does not taste heavily manipulated which shows the fruit. The finish persists of juniper berries.
